英國降息金融股難敵賣壓

英國央行於8月例會下調基準利率25個基點至5%。 此前利率已保持一年不變，本次決策過程可謂膠著，減息行動將利率水平從16年高位拉下。 貨幣政策委員會（MPC）描述決議為”微妙平衡”，因在九成員中有四名選擇按兵不動。 

委員會指出，預計整體通脹率將下修趨向目標。 在得知利率結果後，交易員提高了降息預期，押注還會再減35個基點。 然而，央行行長貝利警示不要降息「太快或太多」，擔憂國內通貨膨脹具僵固特性。 

(英國歷史利率水平) 

週四受企業財報多空紛擾，富時100指數自正轉負，收跌 1.01% 報 8,283 點。與此同時，英鎊/美元跌破 1.28，觸及近一個月低谷。 

少數盤面亮點包括服飾零售企業 Next 上修季度前瞻後股價飆漲 8.3%。 同樣地，豪華汽車製造商勞斯萊斯報強勁季度業績且上調財測，又承諾明年恢復股息發放，該股大漲 7%。 

然而，大盤偏空。 航太公司梅爾羅斯儘管財報優於預期，但將營收指引下修至38億英鎊，而後股價暴跌超過12%，指數中墊底。 資產管理公司施羅德也因業績不佳而令投資人失望，股價重挫 9.7%。 

銀行金融板塊普遍承壓，加重指數修正。 國民西敏寺銀行跌 8.1%，匯豐銀行下滑 6.5%。 渣打銀行坐跌 6%，勞埃德銀行失 5.7%，巴克萊銀行摔 4.7%，保德信銀行下跌 4.5%。
